Marketing Coordinator

The Middle East & North Africa Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) is a non-profit non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting clean energy including renewables, energy efficiency, smart grid, energy storage and clean energy technology and solutions for the environmental sector. We create a forum for stakeholders from both the private and government sectors to come together to exchange ideas, share information and to facilitate projects.

We need a Marketing Coordinator to provide strong support to our busy and small team, and we are looking for a team player who can work autonomously, multi task and use their initiative to get things done. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Coordinate and track Barter agreements with industry partners for trade events
  • Keep website updated in accordance with agreements and industry events
  • Coordinate with organizations for marketing content and send e-shots for industry events
  • Assist to executive marketing campaigns (including social media – linkedin, facebook, twitter)
  • Liaise with members to book space in CEBC pavilions (as part of industry trade shows)
  • Liaise with members to share news and updates for online projects gallery and newsletter
  • Prepare monthly newsletter with CEBC updates, member highlights and industry news and reports
  • Regular postings on CEBC media channels including facebook, linkedin and twitter
  • Facilitate and execute pre-planned schools program
  • Coordinate and chaperone school ambassador events including managing permissions and attendance
  • Coordinate CEBC members to do presentations to students during academic year
  • Coordinate women business leaders in the clean energy sector to do presentations to UAE universities (5
  • presentations- bi monthly)
  • Setting up online registration for CEBC events and registering guests as required
  • Help set up for CEBC and industry events day prior
  • Order and prepare name badges prior to events
  • Send out confirmation/reminder email to registered guests day prior to event
  • Track speaker contact details, confirmations and timely submission of presentations
  • Organize speaker presentations into cohesive CEBC branded presentation
  • Assist at CEBC events
  • Follow up personally post event to non-members with membership and joining information
  • Send out presentations to attendees post event and coordinate with IT to upload to website
  • Coordinate IT requests to keep website up to date and neat
  • Coordinate logistics for industry events and trade shows where CEBC is exhibiting
  • Coordinate CEBC representatives/members to speak at industry events
  • Keeping contacts database up to date and adding new contacts
  • Miscellaneous tasks on an ad-hoc basis as required
  • Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic, flexible self-starter who is able to work autonomously
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years work experience in marketing/administration
  • Sound computer skills including advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and use new
  • computer software quickly and easily. Knowledge of social media is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English is essential
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
