Egypt is the fifth country in the MENA Region to adopt a Feed-in Tariff  (FiT) program, to encourage private investments in renewable energy with the aim to reduce  shortages  in conventional fuel sources . At this special breakfast session dedicated to supporting Egypt’s Renewable Energy Program, the CEBC is proud to welcome Engr. Lamya Abdel Hady, Director of Egypt’s Solar FiT Program from the Ministry of Electricity & Energy.

The breakfast will feature presentations and panel sessions focusing on Egypt’s 2,300MW Solar PV program, wind and geothermal programs. You will hear from leading regional and global players in the industry who will discuss the program’s financing options and operational conditions as well as the industry’s key growth sectors. This breakfast will bring together investors, renewable energy companies and manufacturers and high-level government officials to foster proactive discussions to support the development of Egypt’s clean energy sector and its corresponding regulatory framework.
