Job description:
CEBC is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the growth of our association by:
- Helping increase our membership base
- Leading our event management efforts
- Supporting with day-to-day book keeping and finances
- Overseeing the upkeep of the CEBC website
- Assisting members with their queries
- Managing our relationships with event organizers with whom we have barter agreements
- Coordinating our monthly newsletter and our media outreach activities
Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, experienced in handling a wide range of executive support and PR and marketing related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be well organized, flexible and knowledgeable in the Middle East renewable energy field. The candidate must possess expert-level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail.
This person will represent CEBC both through written channels (i.e. website, newsletter, internal and external communications) and in person at meetings, briefings and other events. He/she will be assigned the unique responsibility of helping promote CEBC in the region and elevating the organization to the highest possible standard. This person will also serve as liaison between the CEBC leadership team and CEBC members, sponsors, media and any other relevant bodies.
This person may also be required to perform special studies and analyses on the industry as assigned; gather and evaluate data; contact other organizations if necessary to obtain information and prepare reports and recommendation based thereon; conduct various internal and external surveys.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be suitable.
Having completed a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited university with a relevant major would be desirable. Experience in the regional renewable energy industry is a plus.
